A guide to PMTA for NGP businesses

For a number of years, e-cigarette manufacturers operating in the US have been focussing their time and resources on one thing, ensuring that they filed Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) for their deemed products, i.e., products that were on the US market before August 8th, 2016. The PMTA process provided the most complete, fully defi ned, regulated route to authorize e-cigarettes in the world and sought to provide evidence to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that e-cigarettes were Appropriate for the Protection of Public Health (APPH).
