Senior Project Manager

• 8 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and next generation nicotine delivery products industries across technical and project management roles.
• Development of Broughton’s testing capabilities for ENDS products.
• Led the Pre-Market Tobacco Application (PMTA) submissions of a number of ENDS products.

Rachael works within the Project Management Office (PMO) at Broughton as a Senior Project Manager, with specific expertise in the analytical workstream.

After gaining her Masters and PhD in Chemistry at the University of York, Rachael joined the Broughton Group in 2016 as a pharmaceutical method development and validation scientist. She moved within Broughton from the pharmaceutical to nicotine business in 2018 where she played a key role in the development, validation and ISO17025 accreditation of the Broughton suite of HPHCs in ENDS methods.

Since 2020, Rachael has been part of the PMO team at Broughton, managing a variety of scientific consultancy and regulatory compliance projects for pharmaceutical and consumer products. Working in different roles, from CMC Workstream Lead to Project Lead, has given Rachael a wide range of experience in PMTA submissions and deficiency responses as well as MAA and TPD submissions.
